At just 17 years old, Ethan has already shown more resilience and determination than many see in a lifetime. Born with a condition called Club Foot, he has spent much of his life in and out of hospital, facing challenges most people will never fully understand.

In January last year, Ethan made an incredibly brave and life-changing decision to have his lower leg amputated — a choice made with courage, maturity, and strength far beyond his years.

Fast forward to now, and against all odds, Ethan has smashed his recovery. 💪 He’s already back down at Monday night training with the team and has his sights firmly set on returning to competitive action alongside his dad — a truly special and powerful goal. 🔥

Ahead of our opening Super League Round 1 fixture against St Helens, Ethan is taking on a charity walk from the BrewDog Stadium to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday. This walk represents everything Ethan stands for: resilience, inclusion, and giving back.

Half of the money raised will go to the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation to help support and grow our Physical Disability Rugby League programme, ensuring more people can access the game, build confidence, and feel part of the Wolves family.

The remaining funds will support Ethan’s upcoming trip to Sri Lanka this June through the Healthcare Programme at Warrington & Vale Royal College, where he will take part in medical outreach, shadowing healthcare professionals on hospital wards, in clinics, and in operating theatres.

Ethan’s journey is a powerful reminder of what our PDRL family is all about — courage, community, and never letting anything stand in your way. By supporting this walk, you’re helping change lives both here in Warrington and across the world.
