My Story

We are taking part in the Heroes of the WIRE: Memorial Bike Ride, a four-day cycling challenge from 22 to 25 June 2026, riding over 225 miles through Northern France and Belgium. 

This ride is in memory of the 11 Warrington Wolves players who lost their lives during the First World War, retracing parts of the Western Front and finishing at the Menin Gate in Ypres. Its a powerful journey of remembrance, honouring their sacrifice and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.

Alongside remembering these fallen players, the ride is raising vital funds for the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation, supporting programmes across mental health, wellbeing, disability inclusion and community engagement here in Warrington.
